Sedation Options During Tooth Removal

It’s not uncommon for patients to experience dental anxiety or fear when they need a tooth extraction. We offer two sedation options: nitrous oxide and IV sedation. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is an effective sedative that you inhale through a mask. Laughing gas is not meant to put you to sleep, but rather keep you calm.

IV sedation is a form of sedation used to send you into a deep state of relaxation. IV sedation is a safe intravenous sedation technique that makes patients so relaxed they might not remember the procedure.
