When should I start taking my kids to the dentist?
Your child should see the dentist by their first birthday or when their first tooth erupts—whichever comes first.
When can a child use regular toothpaste?
A fluoridated toothpaste should not be incorporated until around the age of 3. Before then, use an infant-safe toothpaste.
How long does it take for a baby tooth to fall out?
A loose tooth can take several weeks to fall out once you notice it’s a bit wiggly. Most children lose their baby teeth around the age of 5 or 6.
