Fastbraces is a new, patented orthodontic technology that helps patients achieve healthy, straight teeth in as little as three months. While traditional metal braces rely on a lengthier two-step method – first shifting the tooth’s crown, and then moving the tooth’s root – Fastbraces’ technology allows both the tooth and the crown to move simultaneously, thus cutting down treatment time to about 1 year or less.
In addition to offering patients relatively speedy orthodontic results, the Fastbraces patented bracket design also provides a safe, affordable and more pleasant alternative to traditional braces. The technology has been developed, tested and honed over the past 20 years and is responsible for helping thousands of people worldwide to permanently achieve healthy, radiant smiles.
Therese Miranda, DDS is a proud Fastbraces® provider for braces technology that is fast, safe and affordable.
What is the Procedure for Getting Fastbraces
Fastbraces is a respected orthodontic treatment with many cosmetic and health benefits. Here’s an at-a-glance summary of what you can expect during each stage of treatment:
We’ll discuss your desired results, the orthodontic problems needing correction, orthodontic alternatives to Fast Braces, and the projected timeframe. We’ll take photos, x-rays and plastic models of your teeth, face and jaws in order to create your individual treatment plan. After we’ve reviewed your diagnostic records, we’ll lay out your customized treatment plan.
Most patients keep their Fastbraces in place for 3 months to a year.
- Tightening Appointments: Expect to come in for routine adjustments roughly every 6 weeks.
- Removal: During this hour-long appointment, we’ll remove your brackets, clean and polish your teeth.
- Retainers: To prevent your teeth from shifting out of place, we recommend that you wear your retainers for about 15 minutes each day.
